Hey Fit Chics…listen, you don’t need to spend hours in the kitchen. No one has time for that anymore. You can spend some more time on YOU, more time with your lover, and/or more time with your children.

This is my huge time saver lately…my CROCK POT. I love it. I can set the switch to low, leave the house, and dinner is ready when I get in! Too sweet.

Try this: Take a package of skinless, boneless chicken breasts (about 8-10) and put them in the crock pot. You can put them in frozen too. I do this all the time. Then pour some chicken broth over top and the seasonings that you like. I add sage, pepper, and parsley. Depending on the efficiency of your crock pot, the cooking time will vary. However, check the chicken with a meat thermometer if you are unsure if it is done. I let ours cook for about 8-9 hours on low.

Once complete, you will have a lot of chicken. Now the fun begins! What can you do with all the chicken?

1. Add a side dish
2. Use chicken in a stir fry
3. Use chicken in a wrap, fry up the veggies
4. Can add the chicken to soup

These are just a few ideas…I am positive you can come up with your own to share.

Oh, and we always wait for our chicken to go on sale. Which it does, very often. We can get a large package with about 8 breasts in it for $10. Eating healthy can be very affordable. This is a lot of chicken and can last for several meals! You can freeze it too.

Get out that crock pot, free up your hands, and have a great day!

Cheers to health,

Angie
