It’s time to celebrate a fat loss success from one of our fellow readers. This is going to become one of my favorite components of my blogs, (Celebrating Successes), because it’s real people achieving real results. All the small success are worth celebrating. I can’t express the satisfaction when I receive emails from readers like you who share a recent win with me. It’s incredibly exciting.

This story and success gets me totally revved up. It’s because of the impact that it’s had on Sheryl’s entire life. I can feel that she’s a new person now. The person that she deserves to be. This is what it’s all about. It’s not what the scale number tells you.

Read Sheryl’s inspiring story, give her a high five, and go out there and create a win for us all to celebrate on this blog and build the momentum to make 2008 and beyond, the best times of your life.

Here’s Sheryl’s success:

Hey Scott,

I was that girl - you know, the chronic dieter, the one that wings it with regard to exercise, the one that is just not happy with herself.

I would be short with people, small things would get to me, my tolerance was not high. In fact, I was grumpy!

I was grumpy because I was hungry, I was grumpy because I was tired, I was grumpy because I was down on myself all the time.

Now Scott, you’ll notice I say was… This is because that was before. Before I found you (via your web site), before I started setting goals, before I started thinking positively, before I learned from you that I DON’T HAVE TO BE PERFECT! Wow, the pressure that lifted once I realized that.

Scott, I’m a determined gal, but I’ve learned from you, that unless you have a positive mindset and a positive direction, all the determination in the world is going to run out at some stage.

I read your blogs and have downloaded some of your audios onto my mp3 player ( including the short clips from Unstoppable Fat Loss series) and listen to these almost every day at work. You and your guests are inspiring and motavating and I just can’t wait to finish work so I can get my butt out of there and get moving.

I am now getting up earlier and walking to and home from work (20min at a brisk pace each way) and starting out on your fat burning workouts for women on the go and HIIT sessions - and enjoying doing all this for my body!

And people are noticing. I have been getting compliments on how good I look, and its not from a body transformation (early days on that front), its from my more positive attitude and outlook on life, my whole demeanor, the way I hold myself, my now quickness to smile.

You know what my boyfriend said to me the other day…He said “Sheryl, you don’t frown so much as you used to” Hows that! I think that pretty much sums it up. I feel so much happier within myself. Definitely on the right track.

Thank you Scott. And thanks to Angie too. She is my inspiration. She is a similar build to me and a whole lot busier -(with 2 kids and a hyper husband!). Seeing her in such great shape shows me that I can do it too.

So once again, a huge thanks Scott and Angie. You guys rock!

Mind and spirit positive and healthy, body will be following along very shortly….

Cheers
Sheryl
