Day 2 - Detox Program

Well I’m on day 2 of my detox and feeling great! I am following the detox plan from Jon Benson’s book the Every Other Day Diet Plan. I’m waiting to feel really lethargic and just horrible but so far its really not too bad. I guess the toughest part is cooking for everyone else around here and I’m not able to taste it! I am making spaghetti for dinner because it is my sons favourite food! I can just taste it right now…

I’m just really prepared for my day and this is really helping me. My fridge is loaded with lots of healthy fruits and veggies. I am making a huge salad each day to get me through a few days of meals. I also made some more homemade salsa. This is such a help! I am putting it on my veggies and salad. It adds so much flavour and really is a boost to my spirits!
I do miss doing my workouts from The Fit Chic Year of Workouts. However, I did walk this morning at a nice, light pace. It felt good to at least do that. I’m also staying really focused and strong mentally because as I’m working at my desk I have been listening to the Unstoppable Fat Loss Audio series. It’s been so refreshing to hear the struggles and triumphs that each speaker has to share. I find that I get so motivated to take action after I listen to this audio. I actually got out my pen and paper and wrote down some suggestions that were made and I plan to look at each question and answer it.
Well, I am half way through the day and still standing, LOL!! Really, its not been too bad…well I haven’t made the spaghetti yet so I’ll fill you in on that one tomorrow!
