Gluteus to the Maximus-Day 3

I have good news! Myleg and butt pain is finally giving me some relief today! I was really hurtin’ yesterday. Today’s workout was another awesome one. As some of you already know I am following Nick Nilsson’s ‘Gluteus to the Maximus‘ program. I am doing the 10 minute advanced home workouts. I did two leg exercises today. I am incorporating Nick’s program into the Fit Chic program that I’ve been following for over a year. I am really confident that I’ll reach amazing goals using this unique combination. My workouts are only a total of 20 minutes long and I do them 3X/week.
What I’m really enjoying about Nick’s program is that it totally focuses on the area that I need to tone up. My butt and thighs. Especially the back of my thighs where I tend to carry some cellulite. His program is quick and to the point. What I mean is that I really want to get more muscle definition in my thighs and I am confident that his layout will jump start my progress. His leg workouts are killer! There are a lot of exercises in his program that I have never done before so it’s a nice, fresh start for me. It’s always great to learn new exercises.
Since my legs had recovered today from Monday’s workout, I went for a jog in the morning. I only had some water and an apple before my jog so I came home and had my oatmeal mixed with berries and protein powder. This is a great post workout meal.
This journey has only just begin…I can only imagine how tight our butts and thighs will feel in the next few weeks!! Whoo hooo!!!!

One of the things that impresses me most about Nick’s programs is the variety of exercises to try. I started a bit further down the “exercise rung” than you have, but for the longer session. Nick in the morning and a different bodyweight session at night. It’s one way to keep me quiet at my desk job. My legs were glad for the rest today after the morning’s workout.
Looking forward to how great we’ll all look in six weeks!

got in a great workout today. i feel i pushed myself harder than i did the other day. upping the intensity is the only way to make good progress. I still haven’t figured out what I am going to do, but figured just getting something done is better than nothing. I think I can do the intermediate level workouts except the one-legged squat is quite difficult and my legs are not strong enough yet for me to do it correctly.
