“Supersets”- Gluteus to the Maximus

Uh -oh , I haven’t done today’s workout yet but I’ve viewed it online and I’m a bit scared! I am following Nick Nilsson’s Gluteus to the Maximus program to help me achieve tight, lean thighs and a firmer butt! It’s definitely ’shaping’ up to come true! I am doing the 20 minute advanced home workouts, as well as following The Fit Chic 10 minute Express Workouts. It’s a great combination because I am still getting a full body workout in a reasonable amount of time!
But, back to today…so we are supersetting various kinds of lunges and squat exercises! We are doing 5 sets of this…I hope I can get up the stairs afterwards!
Looking on ahead to todays workout makes me happy to know that I’ve already gone for my walk today. I feel a bit of a head cold coming on and did not want to push myself too hard with the cardio this morning. I have also already completed the ‘Gluteus Specialization‘ program. I did this immediately after my walk.
For those of you who are following this, I find it can be mentally limiting to push yourself because Nick does not say how many of these exercises to do. I find myself counting and when I ‘think’ its high enough, I just stop. You are supposed to work to exhaustion. So now I’ve been reaching a certain number and then going at least 5 more beyond that. Each day I will try to increase my number.

I will be “off the schedule” the next few days as I do have that nasty head cold going on. sore throat, headache, feverish. basically feeling like crap. so no workout for me either. actually i’d rather be in bed right now.

Can you ‘catch’ this bug over the internet?? I feel just like you do! It is crappy. I’m trying to just eat well…take it easy, hope you feel better soon

i’m on day 2 of the crappies! took most of the day off of work and slept. i hear this is going around. hopefully will be over soon. I am losing ground! lol. the whole body just aches! not the kind of aches I want to feel!
